A Note from the arranger

Dear Band Director,

In the almost thirty years I have been working with America’s marching ensembles, I have seen the quality of published arrangements get better and better; still, many times the "right charts" for your show are just not out there. Let me help you by providing the "right charts."

I have consulted with and written for countless high school band programs plus DCI and DCA drum and bugle corps units. Clients have included the Erie Thunderbirds Drum and Bugle Corps, Excalibur Drum and Bugle Corps, the Golden Lancers Jr. Drum and Bugle Corps, McDowell High School in Erie PA during the 1970' and 1980’s, the Marion Cadet Drum and Bugle Corps, the Pittsburgh Steel City Ambassadors Drum and Bugle Corps, Serra Catholic High School, The Tri-State Youth Performance Federation Brass Ensemble and numerous other high school and private competitive organizations. Dr. Tinnerman currently teaches as an Assistant Professor of Education at Indiana State University.

My music works every time because it is written from your specifications. I use either “Sibelius” or "Finale," two of the finest music printing software packages in existence, so everything you receive will be of publication quality. Former and current clients will tell you that delivery is always prompt and as promised.

I would love to hear from you so that we may schedule your music book for rapid delivery. I look forward to hearing from you and working with you to meet your organization's musical needs.

SERVICES INCLUDE:

- One copy of the full score of the arrangement

- One copy of each part, printed full size on 8 1/2 x 11" paper

- A "MIDI" recording of the arrangement

- A disk copy of the work in Sibelius 3, Finale or Encore format (to make easy revisions)

NOTE: Percussion scoring is not part of the standard service but is available for an additional charge. (Over the years I have found that percussion writing is a very personal thing with many directors and the wide differences in ability levels in that section make it usually better if the director or percussion instructor writes for the section.)

Thank You,

Dr. Larry S. Tinnerman
